after launching our company in February of 2020, we made our first donation in the beginning of May to Genesis Women's Shelter & Support. based in Dallas, TX, Genesis helps to reintegrate sexually trafficked and abused women back into society and helps them to have a clean slate. we thought their stories were incredible powerful and were super honored to be able to support them.
near the end of June in 2020, we donated to the North Texas Food Bank during the COVID-19 pandemic to make sure that those without access to healthy, nutritious meals could eat healthily. COVID-19 Times
during the COVID-19 pandemic, we made Mantra and Co. care packages and distributed them to various small businesses around the Dallas metroplex helping to protect the workers that we care about. within the boxes, we included sanitation wipes and handmade masks that would continue to protect them. our team also left these care packages to our delivery workers to grab from outside homes.

in late July of 2020, after heavy consideration of the impact of COVID-19 on various different small businesses and the consideration of the nationwide protests and their impacts on restaurant, we made the decision to donate to the TX Restaurant Relief fund. they use donations received to help keep independently owned restaurants open and workers employed. in response to riots/outbreaks following recent protests, the TX Restaurant Relief Fund is helping to distribute money to restaurants, bars, and other foodservice establishments that were damaged. cracking the wonder code
in mid-July 2020, we made a donation to Cracking the Wonder Code, which is a non-profit initiative with a mission to cultivate the understanding of STEAM in today's youth, and in turn, make STEAM education more accessible across the world, through their various STEAM workshops, competitions, and student-led activities.
during the month of September in 2020, we made a donation to the Innocence Project, a non-profit organization that seeks to exonerate those wrongly convicted of crimes through advanced DNA testing procedures and leads the initiative at the forefront for reform of the criminal justice system.
during December of 2020, in the spirit of the holiday season, we made a donation to Partners in Health, a Boston-based nonprofit that engenders social justice through the power of quality healthcare and modern medicine. now, more than ever, we believe it is of the utmost importance that we play our part in allowing families across the world to enjoy a holiday season full of health and happiness.
in collaboration with She Codes Art, an international women-powered nonprofit based in Seattle that seeks to promote diversity in tech & STEM fields by teaching computer science via a unique art-driven approach, Mantra and Co. has created the She Codes Art jewelry collection to persist in the charge for women in STEM.
amidst an abhorrent rise in hate crimes against Asian Americans in 2021 and as a South Asian owned business, we have made a donation to Asian Americans Advancing Justice, a non-profit civil rights and legal aid organization that advocates for minority groups.
