After launching our company in February of 2020, we made our first donation in the beginning of May to Genesis Women's Shelter & Support. Based in Dallas, TX, Genesis helps to reintegrate sexually trafficked and abused women back into society with a clean slate. We thought their stories were incredibly powerful and were honored to be able to support them.
Near the end of June 2020, we donated to the North Texas Food Bank during the COVID-19 pandemic to make healthy, nutritious meals accessible to those who did not have access to them. "We remain committed to our mission to close the hunger gap in our community by providing access to nutritious food. And during uncertain times like these, we turn to you, to ensure we are able to continue our important work." YOU can support North Texas Food Bank here.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we made Mantra and Co. care packages and distributed them to various small businesses around the Dallas metroplex to protect the workers that we care about. Within the boxes, we included sanitation wipes and handmade masks. Our team also left these care packages for our delivery workers to grab from outside homes.

After heavy consideration of the impact COVID-19 and nationwide protests had on small businesses in July 2020, we made the decision to donate to the TX Restaurant Relief fund. They use donations received to help keep independently owned restaurants open and workers employed. In response to riots/outbreaks following recent protests, the TX Restaurant Relief Fund distributes money to restaurants, bars, and other foodservice establishments that were damaged. Nearing the end of 2020, we made a donation to Partners in Health, a Boston-based nonprofit that engenders social justice through the power of quality healthcare and modern medicine. Now, more than ever, we believe it is crucial that we play our part in allowing families across the world to enjoy a holiday season full of health and happiness.
In collaboration with She Codes Art, an international women-powered nonprofit based in Seattle, Mantra and Co. has created the She Codes Art jewelry collection to persist in the charge for women in STEM. Hate crimes against Asian Americans in the United States have unfortunately surged in 2021.
